About Products
What is the difference between 30-note, 50-note, and 72-note? Which one should I choose?
The more "notes" a music box has, the wider the range of sound that can be played at once, and the depth of the performance increases significantly. Therefore, for special souvenirs of Japan or gifts for loved ones, we recommend a "50-note" or "72-note" model.
- 30-note: A high-quality standard model that plays the main melody and simple accompaniment. You can easily and comfortably enjoy a beautiful melody of approximately 30 seconds per cylinder rotation.
- 50-note: A premium model that allows you to enjoy more authentic music with elaborate ornamentation and rich harmonies. It expresses subtle nuances of the music beautifully and is an exquisite item for appreciation that pursues the beauty of "sound." There are specifications for "one long song play" where the cylinder rotates 2-3 times to play one song for a longer duration, and "multiple song play" where you can enjoy 2-3 songs with one unit.
- 72-note: This is the pinnacle model among cylinder music boxes. Similar to the 50-note model, it features "one long song play" and "multiple song play" specifications. The rich sound depth and delicate ornamentation created by the overwhelming 72 notes cannot be replicated by 30-note or 50-note models. You can enjoy an unparalleled deep resonance unique to the top-of-the-line model.
